halloween at davis


we had a wonderful show this weekend at Cafe Roma in Davis, CA
we played with two good young bands

unalaska and deluxe

we sold CDs to half the audience
read the other two bands and their girlfriends and/or mothers
and had a nice time

the venue had windows for walls
so we saw some amazing halloween costumes walking past us
while completely throwing ourselves into our set

paul screamed as he never has

but the first song on their record is amazing

our favorite album this year by a band that no one we know likes besides us


Brother, Sister
by mewithoutYOU

not sure why we like this album so much
there is silly singing
but i am convinced that if mewithoutYOU's singer didn't speak prophetically (scream, whatever)
this band would get many more U2 comparisons
their rhythm section is increasingly becoming a finally tuned mid-80's driving post-punk/new wave section

it's been awhile, but a lot has been happening


we are back on the blog

in the time that has passed we have accomplished quite a bit...

first, WE BOOKED A TOUR!?!?!!?!!! through Northern CA, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada.
We are very excited.

We will be playing with friends of ours most of the days including THINK IN FRENCH, We May Die in the Desert, Kieskagato, Secret Stolen, and Idle Discourse.

December 14, STILL WORKING ON IT
December 15, Reno or Carson City with Think in French more details coming
