we had another wonderful night at edinburgh castle
it may have been our last
if edinburgh shutdown rumors are to be believed
but we received mix signals: new stage, no soundman
who knows
either way
it was a great show for us
we met a lot of new people
and we unveiled our retooling of
the Middle Passagewe have had the Middle Passage since one of our first shows in DC at the late Metro Cafe
it's been on two of our three releases and was supposed to be on the third
but it is the song that we can never finish
because it means so much to us
we have spent a lot of time in recent weeks fine tuning, rewriting, splicing, etc.
and it paid off in our eyes
we can't wait to hear what it sounds like after two weeks of touring with it
following our set,
A Pack of Wolves played
there isn't much one can say about APOW
except go see them
they are one of the only bands that utilizes a lap top well
pounding disco beats mixed with early
Modest Mouse guitar sounds
and a sense of melodramaticism/sillyness/abandonment
saturday was certainly not the last AAFTB/APOW show
